Entreprise et Découverte is the national association for the
company visit. In 2019, it is launching a promotional campaign
in international know-how tourism in partnership with
the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French
de la Culture. A club of excellence in know-how tourism
is created, bringing together the 100 most beautiful company visits.
Today, these companies are grouped under the :
“France savoir-faire d’excellence”.
Entreprise et Découverte works in partnership with Atout France to promote the industry internationally. Sites are selected on the basis of three criteria:
– the ability of companies to welcome international visitors,
– the reputation of the brand, often a symbol of the region,
– the quality of the visitor experience: cultural, authentic, human.
A 2-pronged action plan will be rolled out:
– ongoing initiatives: annual publication of a catalog of sites of excellence,
annual participation in the Rendez-vous en France trade show, a key
event for international tourism in France…
– one-off initiatives: creation of an international event in conjunction with
embassies, a sites of excellence campaign in each French region…
