The first elderflower liqueur was created in Dijon: in the early 2000s, Maison Gabriel Boudier took on a unique challenge—to capture and stabilize the delicate and fleeting aromatic profile of wild elderflowers. From this expertise came SURO Elderflower, a liqueur made from wild elderflowers. Hand-picked just once a year, at the height of their bloom, nearly a thousand flowers go into each bottle. Floral, with delicate honey notes and a rare elegance, SURO can be enjoyed as a Spritz, in a cocktail, or over ice. Rated 97/100 by Wine Enthusiast.

Tasting

A floral and airy aroma, carried by the honeyed sweetness characteristic of wild elderflower. The palate is delicate and balanced, with a slight herbal freshness and a long, silky finish. A liqueur of rare elegance, both subtle and lingering.

Mixology

SURO shines in a Spritz (⅓ SURO, ⅔ Crémant de Bourgogne, a splash of sparkling water) for a floral and refreshing aperitif. It also shines in signature cocktails, such as the Suro Margarita, where its delicate floral notes enhance the boldness of the tequila. It’s also worth trying over ice for a pure, contemplative tasting experience.
