On Friday May 29, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des Producteurs et \u00c9laborateurs de Cr\u00e9mant organized the 24th Concours National des Cr\u00e9mants. This year, AOC Cr\u00e9mant de Loire hosted the prestigious competition, along with delegations from the 7 other Cr\u00e9mant appellations. <\/p>\n
Each year, one appellation is responsible for organizing the competition, which is original in that it rotates from region to region. After the Jura in 2014, this year the Loire hosted in Montrichard, Touraine, and also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Cr\u00e9mant de Loire appellation, the oldest with Burgundy. <\/p>\n
