The acquisition of this new estate is in line with our strategy of controlling and securing supplies, and will help to consolidate Prosper Maufoux wines on the top-end French and export markets.Sylvain Depiesse , director of the Veuve Ambal estates, will manage these vineyards. Vinification and ageing, as for all the company’s wines, will be entrusted to Nadine Gublin , oenological consultant for Prosper Maufoux since 2010, and Laurence Danel , in-house oenologist. <\/p>\n
Prosper Maufoux now produces 150,000 bottles a year, half of which are exported. <\/p>\n
For the past five years, Prosper Maufoux has belonged to Veuve Ambal, the leading producer of Cr\u00e9mant de Bourgogne, located in Montagny les Beaune.
