By HANNAH ASSOULINE
Freelance photographer Hannah Assouline has worked mainly for the press and publishing industry for over thirty years. She helped found L’Événement du Jeudi in 1984 and Marianne in 1997. For several years now, she has been working on an original form of portraiture of writers, offering a diptych of their eyes and their tools: “Des visages et des mains” (“Faces and hands”). This work, now in the collections of the Musée Nicéphore Niépce, has been exhibited in France and abroad, and was published by Editions Herscher in 2024.
